Our Philosophy

AKSCO believes in the philosophy of the 'ZERO (0)'. Everything starts with this little spec, almost inconspicuous of its strength. Unless we value the strength of this number, we will not be able to value the impact of our actions. Leave alone the new commercial ventures, even a new vertical in an existing set up finds its starting point at Zero. Zero can be as much a dampner as it can be an inspiration to get a move on and make things happen. In vernacular languages, it is often referred to as 'Shunya Maa Thi Upaarjan'.

The philosophy of the 'ZERO' has helped us identify the 5 pillars on which we base our practice:

1. Inception - We help you germinate ideas and concepts. We aim at understanding the broad framework and the micro details of carrying out a particular transaction, business or venture. In the process, we try to put the thoughts in perspective so as to objectively weed out options that do not fit in to the ultimate goal of the said transaction, business or venture. Our best efforts are in the direction of trying to arrive at optimal options.

2. Planning - We help you strengthen the roots. Once we have discussed the best and worse case scenarios, we get on with planning the various aspects of the transactions bit by bit. If the need be, we provide a well documented road map for the fulfillment of the ultimate objective. The aim is to have an agreed and objective approach to execution. This process is also important from a perspective of identifying future risks, manner in which the same shall be dealt with, the basis of picking one option over the other, etc. within our domain of knowledge.

3. Structuring - We help shape up your treasured sapling. There are no transactions that are undertaken in a vacuum. They are always undertaken within the four walls of a certain legal structure. Based on the objectives and ultimate goals of the said transactions, the most feasible transaction structures are suggested and advantages and disadvantages identified within our domain of knowledge.

4. Compliance - We hold your hand and help you nurture. There are no transactions that are undertaken in a vacuum. They are always undertaken within the four walls of a certain legal structure. Based on the objectives and ultimate goals of the said transactions, the most feasible transaction structures are suggested and advantages and disadvantages identified within our domain of knowledge.

5. Optimisation - We guide you to reap the benefits and bear the fruits. To stagnate is to stop growing. Every business, project, venture, etc. needs to create its own market place, have a well thought out succession plan, improvise practices and procedures, restructure, etc. Unless these aspects are looked into, the business is not likely to reach the next level like handle larger volumes, improve tax efficiency, etc. Several of these aspects have exposures as regards tax and allied laws. Our aim is to assist our client partners in taking those giant leaps and help them reap the advantage of their long standing market positions.
